EDMONTON, AB - The Edmonton Oilers placed forwards Ty Rattie and Ryan Spooner on waivers Monday morning.
Rattie, who's in his second season with the Oilers, has recorded eight points (2G, 8A) in 29 games this NHL season. In 2017-18, the 25-year-old Airdrie, Albera product split time between the Oilers and the AHL, recording nine points (5G, 4A) in 14 games in Edmonton and 43 points (21G, 22A) in 53 games as a member of the Bakersfield Condors.
Spooner played in 24 games for the Oilers and recorded two goals and an assist after being acquired from the New York Rangers on November 16. The Ottawa, Ontario native had a goal and assist in 16 previous games this season as a member of the Rangers.
