EDMONTON, AB - There were a few Oilers players absent from practice on Tuesday, as Oscar Klefbom and Jujhar Khaira were not on the ice.
Klefbom took a slap shot to his midsection versus the New York Rangers and Khaira was involved in a fight against Brendan Lemieux but still played 14:26 on the night.
"Him (Klefbom) and JJ we held out of practice, so we'll see (how they are) in the morning," said Oilers Head Coach Ken Hitchcock. "Looch practiced full time, so we'll see if he has any setbacks from the practice today.
"We have three guys that we'll know about in the morning but all three were much better today, which is a good sign."
Lucic said he's recovering day-by-day.
"It was just one of those things that kind of just happened in practice," the forward said. "It was kind of a muscular thing that probably is from wear and tear.
"I'll see how I feel in the morning and make a decision after (Wednesday's) morning skate."
