NASHVILLE, TN - In a deviation back to their minor and major-junior hockey days, the Edmonton Oilers got dressed in their full equipment prior to making their way to the team bus and Centennial Sportsplex in Nashville for a full practice on Wednesday afternoon.
Bridgestone Arena, the home of the Predators, was unavailable to the Oilers this afternoon due to a concert later in the evening.
The Sportsplex pales in comparison to the arenas the players have become accustomed to practicing and playing in around the NHL, but it did a great job amplifying the ambiance of a hard Oilers practice that followed Tuesday night's 5-1 loss to the Minnesota Wild in the first game of this two-game road trip.
