EDMONTON, AB - Matvey means business.
After being re-assigned to the OHL's North Bay Battalion on Thursday, Edmonton Oilers prospect and 2021 sixth-round pick Matvey Petrov wasted no time on Friday getting his second season in North America started on the right foot.
The Russian forward picked up a goal and two assists, including a wicked one-timer in the first period, to put the Battalion up by three before the first intermission in a 4-1 victory over the Soo Greyhounds.
