0.0: WINNERS ON BROADWAY!!! The Oilers come from behind for the second straight night with a four-goal outburst in the third period to take a 4-3 victory over the New York Rangers – their second straight four-goal comeback over the Blueshirts at Madison Square Garden after doing it last November.

The Oilers are back to .500 heading into the holiday break at 15-15-1.

15:43: KANE PUTS US AHEAD! Quick pushes a rebound out and it falls right to the stick of the winger in the slot, who gets a piece of Braden Schneider's stick on its way through five-hole to turn a one-goal deficit for the Oilers into a one-goal lead in a 1:10 stretch. | EDM 2, NYR 1

16:53: NOT QUICK ENOUGH!!! Zach Hyman scores to tie the game with his team-leading 19th goal of the season on a pretty backhand that breaks Quick's shutout streak versus the Oilers at 99:43. | EDM 1, NYR 1

SECOND PERIOD

0.0: Jonathan Quick has now put in five straight scoreless frames against the Oilers. He's the only one keeping this game 1-0 through 40 minutes after making all 23 saves – including some great ones on the penalty kill.

5:07: OFF THE POST! Derek Ryan with a great deflection that strikes the bar.

12:22: The puck has been bouncing around fiercely tonight, leading to some broken rushes going either way. Warren Foegele and Connor Brown almost capitalized on a shorthanded 2-on-1 before Darnell Nurse ripped the follow-up shot off the post.

20:00: The second period is underway!

FIRST PERIOD

0.0: Draisaitl gets a late chance shorthanded with seven seconds left in the frame but he can't connect his wrist shot to the far corner. The Oilers will be shorthanded for 1:40 to begin the second period, trailing 1-0.

8:57: RANGERS GOAL | Mika Zibanejad puts the perfect touch on the puck from below the goal line to redirect it in front to Blake Wheeler, who scores with the Oilers looking the other direction. A terrific little play. | NYR 1, EDM 0

12:21: Stuart Skinner makes two confident saves as the game begins to open up a little bit, with odd-man rushes going both directions.
