The Oilers host the Los Angeles Kings in search of a victory

THIRD PERIOD

0.0: OILERS WIN! A 4-2 victory over the Los Angeles Kings gives the Blue & Orange two valuable points over their Pacific Division rivals and puts an end to their three-game losing streak, lifting them to a 5-5-1 record since the All-Star on the back of Stuart Skinner's 38 saves and Evan Bouchard's game-winner early in the third.

This five-game homestand at Rogers Place concludes on Wednesday versus the St. Louis Blues.

3:29: NUGGY PUTS IT THROUGH! Connor Brown feathered a bouncing puck past the Kings' defenders and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins gets the slightest touch to the puck to put it past Rittich and lift Edmonton into a late 3-1 lead. Mattias Janmark gets the secondary assist and now has three goals and an assist in his last five games.

6:07: After their second power play didn't convert, Trevor Lewis' high stick on Evan Bouchard sends them right back to the power play looking to put some space between them and LA up 3-2.

9:15: Matt Roy hooks Corey Perry to draw two minutes and send the Oilers back to the man advantage.

18:35: BOUCH THROUGH THE ROOF! The defenceman releases a 'Bouch Bomb' that goes bar down after Draisaitl layed it into his path. McDavid scoops up a secondary assist and now has 22 helpers in his last 10 games. 3-2 Oilers.

FIRST PERIOD

0.0: It's 1-1 through 20 minutes after Hyman's late team-leading and career-high 38th goal.

23.1: HY SCORE! When it looked like they'd end the period short a goal, a turnover by the Kigns in their own zone leads to an open look for McDavid, but the captain (true to his recent trends) elects to pass off to Hyman for a one-timer in the left circle that Edmonton's leading scorer buries past David Rittich.

Hyman makes it 1-1 late in the first with his 38th of the season
