The Edmonton Oilers prospects are participating in 2022 Rookie Camp from Sept. 14-19, with the Young Stars Classic set to be held at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton, BC.
Edmonton's roster features 25 players (three goaltenders, eight defencemen and 14 forwards) and includes 13 Oilers draft selections and the club's four most recent first-round picks: Reid Schaefer (2022, 32nd overall), Xavier Bourgault (2021, 22nd overall), Dylan Holloway (2020, 14th overall) and Philip Broberg (2019, 8th overall).
Rookie Camp opens up with medicals and fitness testing at Rogers Place on Wednesday before the team departs to Penticton for exhibition games against the rookies of the Winnipeg Jets (Sept. 16, 5:00pm MT), Calgary Flames (Sept. 17, 8:30pm MT) and Vancouver Canucks (Sept. 19, 3:30pm MT).
