EDMONTON, AB -The Edmonton Oilers are looking to draw even in their first-round series on Wednesday night againt the Los Angeles Kings.
Head Coach Jay Woodcroft made some changes in the bottom six from Monday's game, injecting Josh Archibald into the third line and shifting Warren Foegele to the fourth line with centre Ryan McLeod and winger Zack Kassian.
Between the pipes, it looks as if Mike Smith will be given the opportunity to rebound from his Game 1 mistake. The Oilers netminder had gone the entire month of April without a loss, but turned over the puck late in Game 1 which contributed to the eventual game-winning goal.
The Oiler may go with 12 forwards and six defenceman for Game 2, a move which would make defenceman Kris Russell the likely odd man out.
