EDMONTON, AB - Josh Archibald will make his return to the lineup on Saturday night when the Oilers host the Tampa Bay Lightning at Rogers Place.
The 29-year-old, who's missed the entire season with myocarditis, skated on the fourth line with Zack Kassian and Brad Malone. The forward is also expected to factor into being an important part of the penalty kill after being a central figure for the Oilers shorthanded during the 2019-20 NHL season.
Tyson Barrie was back on the right side of a pairing with Philip Broberg after missing the last three games with an upper-body injury. Mikko Koskinen was in the starter's net, with Mike Smith set to fill the role of backup after recovering from a stomach bug.
