EDMONTON, AB - The Oilers skated at Rogers Place ice Monday morning ahead of tonight's 6:00pm MT matchup against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Rookie Dylan Holloway returned to skating with the group after missing the last two games with an upper-body injury sustained against the Buffalo Sabres. The injury occured early in the second period when Buffalo defenceman Ilya Lyubushkin caught the winger receiving a pass by the Oilers redline. Woodcroft confirmed that Holloway would not suit up against the Penguins tonight as he works his way back from the injury.
Between the pipes, Jack Campbell took the reps in the starters crease during morning skate. The goaltender is coming off his strongest performance as an Oiler, turning aside 20-of-21 Sabres shots on Saturday -- including several high-danger chances.
It is expected that Woodcroft will once again go with 11 forwards and seven defencemen for tonight's contest.
