THE SCOOP: The Oilers overthrew a three-goal deficit to tie the game in the second period but couldn't build off it, dropping the game 6-3 as the Ducks cut the series to 2-1.
PLAY OF THE GAME:Connor McDavid grabbed the puck in the offensive zone while playing 4-on-4. He button-hooked on Sami Vatanen, creating enough space for him to walk in from the left circle and fire a laser that beat John Gibson top corner. The goal completed the Oilers comeback.
