EDMONTON, AB - The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation RE/MAX online 50/50 will support Operation Frontline Impact through the first two games of the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The EOCF online 50/50 has been supported all season by fans across Alberta, and net proceeds on May 19 and May 21 will help frontline workers who are committed to keeping our community safe.
Game 1 of the first-round series between Edmonton and Winnipeg on Wednesday, May 19 will be highlighted by 13 early bird draws to show appreciation to all the Oilers fans who continued to show unwavering support throughout the regular season. Early bird prize draws will start at 10:00 AM MT and occur every hour until 11:00 PM MT when the winning ticket for the main jackpot will be drawn.
Starting with Game 2 on Friday, May 21, there will be two early bird prizes drawn on each Oilers playoff game day. All tickets purchased prior to 12:00 PM MT on the game date will be eligible for the first early bird prize and all tickets purchased prior to one hour before the game starts will be eligible for the second early bird prize.
For Game 2 on Friday, the early bird prize draws will include a Rogers Place Sky Lounge experience for 20 people at a select Oilers game during the 2021-22 season and an orange 2021 Ford Mustang GT. Ticket purchasers who win an early bird prize are still eligible to be entered into the subsequent draws on the same date, including for the main prize.
The road through COVID-19 has been a long and challenging one but frontline workers have remained resilient and dedicated. Operation Frontline Impact will create an emergency, distress and critical programming fund for nurses, nursing aides, doctors and non-medical staff working in hospitals across Oil Country. In these unprecedented times, healthcare frontline workers continue to show their passion for their communities, pushing forward, often forgetting to address their own physical and emotional needs. Operation Frontline Impact will help fund and support frontline workers across 55 hospitals in Oil Country.
The RE/MAX EOCF online 50/50 has been successful throughout the 2021 season thanks to the generous support from Oilers fans. Net proceeds from the online 50/50 have helped benefit numerous local charities, who serve the community's most vulnerable and are in need of financial support during these uncertain times. Since the RE/MAX online 50/50 started in 2020, the EOCF has reinvested more than $10 million back into the community.
