RELEASE: Oilers acquire Warren Foegele from Carolina

EDMONTON, AB - The Edmonton Oilers have acquired forward Warren Foegele from the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for defenceman Ethan Bear.
The 25-year-old left-winger scored 10 goals and 10 assists in 53 games with the Hurricanes last season and has recorded 35 goals and 33 assists in 200 career NHL games.
Carolina selected the Markham, Ont. native 67th overall at the 2014 NHL Draft. Foegele scored a career-high 13 goals and 17 assists in 68 games during the 2019-20 campaign.
Foegele has also scored seven goals and five assists in 33 post-season appearances.
