OTTAWA, ON - The Oilers made a pair of roster moves on Sunday.
Goaltender Mike Smith has been activated from Long Term Injured Reserve while goaltender Stuart Skinner has been loanded to the AHL's Bakersfield Condors.
Smith, 38, was placed on LTIR on Jan. 15. He backed up Mikko Koskinen in the Oilers season opener on Jan. 13 but has not played yet in 2020-21. He posted a 19-12-6 record with a 2.95 goals-against average and .902 save percentage in 39 appearances during the 2019-20 campaign.
Skinner, 22, made his first NHL appearance on Jan. 31 against the Ottawa Senators, making 33 saves to earn his first NHL victory. He was drafted 78th overall in 2017.
Edmonton's four-game road trip continues with back-to-back matchups in Ottawa on Monday and Tuesday, following Saturday's 6-4 defeat to the Calgary Flames.
