RELEASE: Oilers announce 2018 pre-season schedule

Edmonton, AB - The Edmonton Oilers will begin the 2018-19 season with a seven-game pre-season schedule.
The Oilers open their 2018 pre-season schedule with a set of back-to-back games on the road. The road trip begins on September 17 against the Calgary Flames and concludes in Vancouver on September 18.
Following those back-to-back games, the Oilers return to Rogers Place to face the Winnipeg Jets on September 20, then head to Winnipeg on September 23, as a part of a home-and-home series of games versus the Jets. The Oilers will conclude the pre-season schedule with three games at home, facing Vancouver (September 25), Arizona (September 27) and Calgary (September 29).
The Oilers will also play an exhibition game in Cologne, Germany on October 3 against the Deutsche Eishockey Liga's (DEL) Cologne Sharks.
