EDMONTON, AB - The Edmonton Oilers will begin the 2021-22 season with an eight-game pre-season schedule, the team announced Tuesday.
The Oilers start the pre-season slate on Sept. 26 against the Calgary Flames at Scotiabank Saddledome before playing host to the Seattle Kraken on Sept. 28 at Rogers Place and making a road visit to Winnipeg on Sept. 29 to face the Jets.
Following the back-to-back games, the Oilers travel to Everett, Washington to face the Kraken on Oct. 1, then return home to face the Jets on Oct. 2 before hosting the Flames on Oct. 4. The Oilers conclude the pre-season schedule with a set of home-and-home games on Oct. 7 against the Canucks at Rogers Place and Oct. 9 in Vancouver.
