EDMONTON, AB -The Edmonton Oilers claimed goaltender Troy Grosenick off waivers Saturday.
Grosenick, 31, was a member of the Los Angeles Kings organization prior to being claimed by Edmonton. The netminder has appeared in two National Hockey League games in his career. Grosenick is 1-1-0 in the NHL with a 1.52 goals-against average, .948 save percentage and one shutout.
In 33 appearances with the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League last year, Grosenick went 20-9-3 with a 2.29 GAA and .920 S%.
