EDMONTON, AB - The Oilers have loaned defenceman Evan Bouchard to Sodertalje SK of the Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan for the beginning of the 2020-21 season.
The 20-year-old played the entire 2019-20 season with the AHL's Bakersfield Condors, recording seven goals and 29 assists in 54 games to rank third in scoring among rookie blueliners.
Edmonton's 10th-overall selection from the 2018 NHL Draft played his first seven NHL games to start the 2018-19 season and scored his first NHL goal before spending the remainder of the season as captain of the OHL's London Knights.
Bouchard then joined the Condors for the 2019 AHL Playoffs, scoring three goals and five assists in eight games. He was also on the Oilers Return To Play roster this summer.
