EDMONTON, AB - The Oilers have loaned defenceman Philip Kemp to Vasby IK of Sweden's HockeyAllsvenskan for the remainder of the 2020-21 season.
The Oilers signed Kemp to a three-year entry-level contract on Nov. 25 after he spent the last three seasons with the NCAA's Yale Bulldogs, scoring nine goals and 18 assists in 88 games.
The 21-year-old was selected by Edmonton in the seventh round of the 2017 NHL Draft.
Oilers forward prospect Raphael Lavoie is also on loan with Vasby IK.
