EDMONTON, AB - The Edmonton Oilers have placed forward Brendan Perlini on waivers and activated forward Devin Shore from injured reserve, the club announced Tuesday.
Shore recorded a goal and an assist in eight games for the Oilers prior to being placed on IR on Nov. 8 with a lower-body injury. He had five goals and four assists in 38 games last season.
Signed by the Oilers to a one-year, two-way contract back in August, Perlini had yet to record a point in 13 appearances this season after scoring six goals in six pre-season games. In 252 career NHL games, the 25-year-old has posted 46 goals and 76 points.
