LOS ANGELES, CA - The Oilers announced Monday they have recalled defenceman Vincent Desharnais from the AHL's Bakersfield Condors.
Desharnais has played 13 games with the Condors this season, recording two assists. The 26-year-old enjoyed a breakout year in Baskersfield in 2021-22, playing 66 games with five goals and 22 assists. The Oilers selected the former Providence College blueliner in the seventh round of the 2016 NHL Draft.
On Saturday, the Oilers loaned forwards James Hamblin and Justin Bailey to the Condors. Bailey has been playing in Bakersfield all season on an AHL contract but inked a one-year, two-way NHL deal with Edmonton on Friday and cleared waivers on Saturday.
