RELEASE: Oilers set to open 2019 Training Camp and pre-season

EDMONTON, AB -The Edmonton Oilers will open 2019 Training Camp on Thursday, September 12 with medicals and fitness testing taking place at Rogers Place.
The camp will feature 54 players (six goaltenders, 16 defencemen and 32 forwards).

On-ice sessions will start Friday, September 13 at Rogers Place and the Downtown Community Rink, with sessions being led by Head Coach Dave Tippett, along with his coaching staff. The first two ice sessions on September 13, will be at 9:30 AM (Team A) and at 12:00 PM (Team B).
The composition of teams A and B will be announced prior to the first on-ice session.
The Oilers open their 2019 pre-season schedule on September 16 against the Winnipeg Jets at Rogers Place.

The Oilers open the 2019-20 regular season on Wednesday, October 2, the opening night of the NHL regular season. The Oilers face off against division rivals, the Vancouver Canucks at 8:00 PM.
