EDMONTON, AB- The Oilers have signed forward Justin Bailey to a one-year, two-way contract worth $750,000 at the National Hockey League level.
Edmonton's affiliate, the Bakersfield Condors, signed the 27-year-old to an American Hockey League contract on Sept. 8 and he's scored four goals and six assists in 16 games this season.
The right-winger was drafted in the second round, 52nd overall, by his hometown Buffalo Sabres in 2013 and has played 82 career NHL games with five goals and four assists.
The Oilers placed Bailey on waivers Friday for the purpose of being assigned to the Condors.
