RELEASE: Oilers sign Bourgault to entry-level contract

Edmonton's 2021 first-round draft pick has recorded 26 goals and 25 assists in 31 games with QJMHL Shawinigan this season

EDMONTON, AB - The Oilers have signed forward Xavier Bourgault to a three-year entry-level contract (ELC) beginning with the 2022-23 season.
Bourgault was the club's first-round selection, 22nd overall, in the 2021 NHL Draft. After attending Oilers training camp in September, he returned to the Shawinigan Cataractes for the 2021-22 season.
