RELEASE: Oilers sign college free agent Colin Larkin

The Edmonton Oilers have signed free agent forward Colin Larkin to a one-year entry-level contract.
Larkin, 24, has just completed his senior season at UMass Boston (NCAA DIII), posting 46 points (24G, 22A), 12 penalty minutes and a +16 plus-minus rating in 27 games, while serving as team captain.
The 6'3", 192-pound forward led the NEHC Conference in scoring this season. He was named Player of the Year in the NEHC for a second consecutive year and was named to the First Team All-Conference.
Over four seasons with the UMass Boston Beacons, the native of Waterford, Mich. amassed 148 points (64G, 84A), 74 penalty minutes and a +57 plus-minus rating in 111 games.
His brother Dylan plays for the Detroit Red Wings.
