EDMONTON, AB - The Oilers have signed forward Adam Cracknell to a one-year, two-way contract for the 2020-21 season.
Cracknell, 35, played with Kunlun Red Star in the KHL last season, posting 24 points (10 goals, 14 assists), 16 penalty minutes and a +1 plus-minus rating in 52 games, also serving as an alternate captain.
The 6-foot-3, 209-pound forward has played in 210 NHL games over nine seasons (with St. Louis, Columbus, Vancouver, Edmonton, Dallas, New York Rangers and Anaheim), posting 43 points (21 goals, 22 assists), 46 penalty minutes and a +3 plus-minus rating.
He has also appeared in 530 career AHL games, posting 309 points (144 goals, 165 assists), 306 penalty minutes and a -2 plus-minus rating.
A native of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Cracknell appeared in eight games with the Oilers during the 2015-16 season, after Edmonton claimed him off waivers from Vancouver.
