RELEASE: Oilers sign Drake Caggiula to two-year contract

Forward recorded 27 goals and 49 points in 156 games in his previous stint with Edmonton from 2016-19

EDMONTON, AB -The Edmonton Oilers have signed forward Drake Caggiula to a two-year, two-way contract with an average annual value (AAV) at the NHL level of $775,000.

Caggiula is a seven-year NHL veteran, having played 282 games split between the Pittsburgh Penguins, Buffalo Sabres, Arizona Coyotes, Chicago Blackhawks and Edmonton Oilers.

The 29-year-old began his career with the Oilers after signing as an undrafted college free agent out of the University of North Dakota in 2016. Caggiula has amassed 46 goals and 45 assists over his seven NHL seasons.
