EDMONTON, AB - The Oilers have signed forward Seth Griffith to a two-year, two-way contract.
Griffith, 29, leads the American Hockey League's Bakersfield Condors with 52 points (20 goals, 32 assists) in 40 games this season, ranking fourth overall in AHL scoring.
The Wallaceburg, Ont. native has accumulated 421 points (148 goals, 273 assists) in 455 career AHL games to go along with eight goals and 11 assists in 81 career NHL games with the Oilers, Boston Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs, Florida Panthers and Buffalo Sabres.
Griffith made his Oilers debut earlier this season in a 5-3 road win on Dec. 18 over the Seattle Kraken, during which he played 5:37 and registered a +1 plus-minus rating.
