EDMONTON, AB - The Oilers have signed forward Greg McKegg to a two-year, two-way contract with an AAV of $762,500, the club announced Wednesday.
The 30-year-old recorded two goals and three assists in 43 games for the New York Rangers during the 2021-22 season after signing as a free agent with the Original Six club last July.
The St. Thomas, Ont. native was drafted in the third round (62nd overall) by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2010 and has played in 251 career regular-season and playoff games with the Rangers, Boston Bruins, Carolina Hurricanes, Tampa Bay Lightning, Florida Panthers and Maple Leafs, recording 23 goals and 18 assists.
