EDMONTON, AB -The Edmonton Oilers have signed forward Ty Rattie to a one-year contract.
Rattie, 25, appeared in 14 games with Edmonton this season, posting nine points (5G, 4A), two penalty minutes and a +1 plus/minus rating
The 5'11", 184-pound forward appeared in 53 games with the American Hockey League's (AHL) Bakersfield Condors, recording 43 points (21G, 22A) and 24 penalty minutes. He led the Condors in goals (21) and ranked second in points (43) and power play goals (8). He also represented Bakersfield at the 2018 AHL All-Star game.
The Airdrie, Alberta native has appeared in 49 career NHL games with St. Louis, Carolina and Edmonton, registering 19 points (9G, 10A) and eight penalty minutes.
The Oilers signed Rattie as a free agent on July 1, 2017. He was originally selected by the St. Louis Blues in the 2nd round, 32nd overall in the 2011 NHL Draft.
