EDMONTON, AB - The Oilers have clinched home-ice advantage in the first round of the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs and Edmonton's ICE District will be the epicentre of post-season excitement.
There will be tailgating, watch parties, massive 50/50 jackpots, and the entire city will be decked out in orange in support of the team. The Oilers are also proud to announce the Oilers Playoffs Mega 50/50, powered by Pepsi and 630 CHED, will be in support of the Kids with Cancer Society and the Alberta Cancer Foundation throughout the first round, honouring five-year-old Ben Stelter, his family and all individuals and families battling cancer.
"We have been so inspired by Ben and his family throughout their journey and we couldn't think of a better ambassador to help unite all of Oil Country through the post-season and support a great cause," said Tim Shipton, Executive Vice President, Oilers Entertainment Group.
"It's been a long time since we've been able to get together in person and we are honoured to welcome the best fans in hockey down to ICE District to cheer on Edmonton's team and bring the energy, excitement and love for our city back downtown."
The largest 50/50 in professional sports will be bigger and better then ever in the playoffs, with nine daily early-bird prizes and potentially record-setting jackpots. Also, starting with Game 1, fans who purchase $100 in 50/50 tickets will also receive a $25 Canadian Brewhouse gift card and a $25 Boston Pizza gift card, with a maximum of one of each gift card per Oilers game day.
Tickets will be available for purchase at EdmontonOilers.com/5050.
