EDMONTON, AB - The Edmonton Oilers have recalled forward Kailer Yamamoto from the American Hockey League's Bakersfield Condors.
Yamamoto, 20, has appeared in 11 games with Bakersfield this season, posting eight points (4G, 4A), 10 penalty minutes and a +3 plus-minus rating.
The 5'8", 153-pound right winger is in his first full professional season, appearing in 12 games for the Oilers earlier this season, posting two points (1G, 1A), two penalty minutes and a -2 plus-minus rating.
The native of Spokane, Washington has appeared in 21 career NHL games to date, with five points (1G, 4A), four penalty minutes, and a -4 plus-minus rating.
Yamamoto was the Oilers' first-round selection, 22nd overall, in the 2017 NHL Draft.
The Oilers have also placed forward Alex Chiasson on Injured Reserve.
