In finding a competitive edge, sometimes Oscar Klefbom and Adam Larsson will strategize in Swedish.
"Not when we play against other Swedes maybe but sometimes when it's a faceoff or something we discuss it on the ice and we can prepare ourselves a little bit more," said Klefbom.

It's a luxury not many pairings around the National Hockey League can afford.
"It's easier for us to explain what we mean out there sometimes when we're countrymen," said Larsson.
"The other guys don't have a clue what we're doing," said Klefbom, who's put together a career year alongside Larsson with 11 goals and 28 points in 64 games this season.
Klefbom is lefty taken 19th-overall in the 2011 NHL Draft. Larsson is a righty who went at the No. 4 spot that same year. Together, the duo are the perfect blend of offence, defence, finesse and grit.
"I like playing with Oscar," said Larsson. "He's a really good player, moves well for that size, has a really good shot and is probably more offensive than I am. I think we complement each other pretty good actually."
While Klefbom's been able to find more offence, he admits a lot of that is because of the stability Larsson provides in the defensive zone.
"He's been so good for me, especially in the defensive zone," said Klefbom. "He's playing so strong and very resolute back there so I can jump up and bring some offence to the game."
