EDMONTON, AB - The Edmonton Oilers will honour the inaugural class of the team's recently announced Hall of Fame on Thursday, Nov. 3 with a 6pm on-ice ceremony before the club hosts the New Jersey Devils at Rogers Place.
The ceremony will recognize this year's inductees Lee Fogolin and Ryan Smyth, as well as enshrined inductees Al Hamilton, Wayne Gretzky, Jari Kurri, Grant Fuhr, Paul Coffey, Mark Messier, Glenn Anderson, Kevin Lowe, Glen Sather and Rod Phillips -- all of whom have been inducted automatically by virtue of their respective banner honour.
Fogolin, Smyth, Hamilton, Kurri, Coffey, Lowe and other Oilers alumni will be in attendance for the induction ceremony to see the names permanently enshrined in the ring above the PCL Loge Level.
