The Pittsburgh Penguins will be hosting their annual prospect development camp next week, beginning on Wednesday, June 28 and ending on Saturday, July 1. All on-ice practices will be held at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry, Pa.
Fans can attend all of the on-ice practices, including the 3-on-3 camp-concluding scrimmage on Saturday, July 1 at 3:00 PM. A complete camp schedule is listed below.

The first practice sessions will be on Wednesday, June 28. Team A will practice from 2:15-3:00 PM, followed by Team B from 3:15-4:00 PM.
While a full development camp roster won't be announced until early next week, three prospects that will be on that list are forwards Daniel Sprong and Zach Aston-Reese, and goalie Filip Gustavsson.
Sprong, a 20-year-old 2015 second-round pick (46th overall), was one of the top goal scorers in Canadian junior hockey this year, scoring 32 goals in 31 regular-season games with the Charlottetown Islanders of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, and another nine goals in 12 postseason games. Sprong was a member of the 'Black Aces' practice squad throughout the Penguins' playoff run following the end of his junior team's season.
Aston-Reese, 22, was a highly-coveted undrafted free agent signing in March. He was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award, college hockey's version of the Heisman Trophy, after leading the NCAA in goals (31) and points (63). Aston-Reese had eight points (3G-5A) in 10 American Hockey League games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton after turning pro.
Gustavsson, 19, was Pittsburgh's top draft choice last year after being selected with the 55th overall selection in the second round. He was the third goalie picked in the 2016 NHL Draft. Gustavsson split this year between Lulea's Swedish Elite League club, and its junior team. Gustavsson also suited up for Sweden at the World Junior Championship.
Like in previous years, the off-ice activities take on a bigger importance for the prospects than the on-ice sessions. This year, the prospects will partake in several strength and fitness presentations, participate in team-building exercises and listen to guest speakers provide tips on becoming, and then succeeding as, a professional athlete.
