"We are incredibly grateful for the support that Evgeni Malkin has extended to our Charity," said Eleanor Reigel, Executive Director of RMH. "His generosity ensures that we can continue to provide our families with warm meals, essential household and pantry items and a safe and supportive environment to call home during this uncertain time."
Non-perishable pantry items provide families with self-serve options such as microwaveable meals, pastas, cereals, canned goods and snacks. Paper products and cleaning supplies were also included on this list.
In addition to the pantry items, the charity was also able to purchase new board games to provide some light-hearted fun for those spending long hours at RMH. The final gift was sent from the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation and included Penguins promotional items, blankets and Evgeni Malkin bobbleheads.
