QUICK HITS

Tonight, the Penguins conclude their sixth set of back-to-back games this season. Pittsburgh is scheduled to have nine sets of back-to-back games in 2020-21. Thus far, the Penguins are 8-2-1 in back-to-backs (6-0-0 the first night; 2-2-1 the second night).
Forward Bryan Rust, who was drafted 80th overall in the 2010 NHL Draft, is two points shy of becoming the 21st member of his draft class to reach 200 points. His .56 points per game ranks 15th among all players selected in 2010.
Forward Frederick Gaudreau won a career-high 11 faceoffs last night in New York. Overall, Gaudreau went 11-1 (91.7%) in the face-off dot last night, and joined Sidney Crosby as the only Penguins this season to win more than 10 faceoffs in a single game this year.
Bryan Rust has points in five-consecutive games (2G-3A) against the Devils, and has points in seven of his last eight games (4G-3A) overall versus them.
Jake Guentzel enters tonight's game with points in four-straight games versus New Jersey (3G-2A). He has 15 points (7G-8A) in 16 career contests against the Devils.

RADIM(ING) QUALITIES

Radim Zohorna tallied his first multi-point game (1G-1A) in the NHL, including his second career goal. Zohorna has four points (2G-2A) in four games this season and points in three of four games. Zohorna joins Sam Lafferty, Jake Guentzel, Evgeni Malkin and Sidney Crosby as active Penguins to have four or more points through their first four career games. Since March 25, the night he made his NHL debut, Zohorna ranks tied for the sixth most points among rookies in the NHL.

OFFENSIVE DEFENSEMAN

Defenseman Kris Letang continues to be an offensive factor for the Penguins as he registered his second multi-point effort (1G-1A) in as many games, helping Pittsburgh to a 5-2 win. It marked Letang's 10th multi-point effort of the season, moving him into a three-way tie for most multi-point games among defensemen. Letang has nine points (1G-8A) over his last seven games dating back to March 25th. During that span, he has the third-most points in the league among defensemen behind Adam Fox (16) and Cale Makar (10).
