QUICK HITS

Pittsburgh enters tonight's game with a six-game win streak that is the second-longest active streak in the league behind the Colorado Avalanche (8). The Penguins (3) are one of three teams in the NHL (Colorado, 4; Toronto, 3) to have three win streaks of five or more games this season.
The Penguins are 7-1-0 with Evgeni Malkin in the lineup this season.
Tristan Jarry registered his 23rd victory of the season on Tuesday against Arizona, which is tied with Tampa Bay's Andrei Vasilevskiy (23) and Nashville's Juuse Saros (23) for the most wins in the NHL.
Bryan Rust has recorded multiple points in six of his last eight games played (8G-10A).
The Penguins' power play went 2-for-3 on Tuesday night, giving them power-play goals in four of their last five games (5/20, 25%). Over the last 11 games, the Penguins' power play has converted in nine of them (11/40, 27.5%).

COUNTDOWN TO 500

Sidney Crosby is just three goals shy of becoming the second active player (Alex Ovechkin), and the 46th player in NHL history, to record 500 career regular-season goals. He would also join Mario Lemieux (690) as the only players in Penguins history to score 500 goals with the team. The two-time Rocket Richard winner's (2010, 2017) 17-year career has seen him eclipse the 20-goal plateau 13 times, the 30-goal plateau nine times, the 40-goal plateau twice, as well as one 50-goal campaign in 2009-10. Crosby has led the Penguins in goals nine seasons, a feat that only Lemieux (10) has accomplished more.
