Defenseman Jeff Taylor and forward Sam Lafferty were rewarded by the ECAC conference for outstanding NCAA seasons this past year.
Taylor, a senior at Union College, was selected to the All-ECAC Second Team after netting 32 points (9G-23A), including six power-play goals and four shorthanded markers, in 36 games thus far.

The 22-year-old blueliner has been on a strong run, notching points in five of his last seven games (1G-8A-9PTS) heading into Union's ECAC semifinal game against Cornell (which features Pens' prospect Anthony Angello) on Friday night.
Taylor has produced the second-highest all-time point total among defensemen in Union College history with 91 (18G-73A) in 147 contests. His 32 points this year established a career high, one more than the 31 he had as a sophomore in 2014-15.
Lafferty, who led Brown University in scoring this year with 35 points (13G-22A) in 31 games, was chosen by the league's coaches to the All-ECAC Third Team.
A junior, Lafferty tacks this honor onto his previous achievements, which include being selected to the All-Ivy Second Team and being named a finalist for the Walter Brown Award, which is presented annually to the best American-born college hockey player in New England.
Lafferty was Pittsburgh's fourth-round (113th overall) selection back in the 2014 NHL Draft, and Taylor was chosen in the seventh-round (203rd overall) that same year.
