The Pittsburgh Penguins have activated forward Jason Zucker off injured reserve, it was announced today by general manager Ron Hextall.
Forward Brock McGinn has been placed on long-term injured reserve, retroactive to March 11.
Zucker, 30, underwent successful core muscle surgery on Jan. 25 and has missed the last 30 games.

Zucker has played in 31 games for Pittsburgh this season, recording six goals, seven assists and 13 points. In 84 career games with Pittsburgh, Zucker has registered 21 goals, 22 assists and 43 points.
The 5-foot-11, 192-pound forward has played parts of 11 seasons in the NHL split between Pittsburgh and Minnesota. In 540 career regular-season NHL games, the Newport Beach, California native has tallied 153 goals, 133 assists and 286 points.
The Penguins return to action tonight in Minnesota as they take on the Wild. Puck drop is set for 8:00 PM ET.
