A free scratch card and mini-stick courtesy of PPG will be given to each fan upon entry. The scratch cards will give fans a chance to win a "Shirt Off Our Back" from a Penguins player. Scratch card prizes also will include "mystery boxes" that contain autographed pucks and gift certificates from PensGear. Winners of the "Shirts Off Our Backs" giveaway will be revealed on the scoreboard at the conclusion of the game.
The traditional, post-game "Shirts Off Our Backs" ceremony will not be held due to COVID-19 restrictions. Alternatively, jerseys will be signed by players post-game and mailed to each lucky winner.
Fans in attendance will also have the chance to enter to win other prizes.
As part of Fan Appreciation Night's festivities, fans are encouraged to arrive early to see Pittsburgh-based band "The Clarks" perform pre-game starting at 6:10 PM. The popular, local band will also entertain fans during both intermissions from the BetRivers Lounge inside PPG Paints Arena.
Additionally, The Penguins Passport grand prize winner will be announced during the third period. One lucky Penguins fan, and three guests, will win a 4-day all-inclusive getaway to Napa, California that includes a Great Day Napa Valley cave tour and barrel tasting experience, vineyard tour, dinner reservations, roundtrip airfare and premium tickets to see the Penguins play the San Jose Sharks at the SAP Center in San Jose during the 2022-23 season.
