Fans will be able to meet and interact with members of the 501st Legion, Rebel Legion and Mandalorian Mercs as they walk the concourse throughout the evening. The night will feature Star Wars movie clips and unique co-branded content.
The Highmark Wall of Champions Hallway (located on the FedEx level between Sections 110 and 115) will have photo sets inspired by scenes from Star Wars films as well as a collection of Star Wars memorabilia.
One week later, '80s attire and other fun retro-themed activities will highlight the Penguins "'80s Night" presented by 102.5 DVE on Tuesday, December 21, when the Pens take on the New Jersey Devils. Puck drop is slated for 7:00 p.m.
Pittsburgh cover band, Jukebox, will be performing fan favorite songs from the '80s including a variety of holiday songs made popular during that era during pre-game and both intermissions.
There will be a green screen photo opportunity for fans featuring scenes from '80s holiday movies and various arcade games from the '80s including Pac-Man, Donkey Kong and Tetris free of charge in the Highmark Wall of Champions Hallway.
Following '80s Night, the Pens will get into the holiday spirit for "Ugly Holiday Sweater Night" on Thursday, December 23 when they host the Philadelphia Flyers at 7:00 p.m. To celebrate the holiday season, fans are invited wear their ugly holiday sweaters for the Penguins' last home game before the New Year.
Fans sporting their ugliest holiday sweaters will have the chance to go home with prize packs from The Milkshake Factory. One prize will be given away each period. Various musical and visual holiday-themed elements will be included in the in-game presentation.
