The primarily black throwback jersey will feature the yellow diagonal "PITTSBURGH" text centered on the chest and includes the skating Penguin sans the traditional triangle on each shoulder. The nod to the Penguins away jerseys worn in the 90s will make their triumphant return on home ice for the first time nearly 30 years later.
The newly-designed adidas jersey was made famous in the mid 90s by Penguins' greats Mario Lemieux and Jaromir Jagr on ice, and rapper, Snoop Dogg off the ice. Pittsburgh will don this unique throwback uniform for at least the next three seasons.

from December 11-15. Beginning Dec.16th, the jersey will be available at DICK'S Sports Goods and other retail locations.
