stanley cup banner raising

The Pittsburgh Penguins will raise their fifth Stanley Cup banner before Wednesday's season-opening game against the St. Louis Blues at PPG Paints Arena.
Game time is 8 p.m., but fans are asked to be in their seats for the special pre-game ceremony and video by 7:45.

All fans in attendance at Wednesday's game will receive gold "Driven for More" t-shirts, courtesy of PPG. "Driven for More" is the Penguins' new marketing slogan for the 2017-18 season.
Three trophies won by the Penguins last season - the Rocket Richard Trophy, the Conn Smythe Trophy, and the Prince of Wales Trophy - will be on display at the Highmark Hall of Champions behind section 114. The trophies will be on display from the start of the first intermission to the end of the second intermission.
The game will be televised nationally by NBCSN and carried on radio by WXDX-FM (105.9 The X) and the Penguins Radio Network.
Fans also are encouraged to stop at Dunkin' Donuts stores on Wednesday to pick up a free "Driven for More" window cling (while they last). Dunkin' Donuts also will be offering an 87-cent medium coffee on Wednesday!
