The Pittsburgh Penguins will take the ice for the first day of training camp on Monday, July 13 at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex, as the NHL begins Phase 3 of its Return to Play Plan.
The 13-day camp will consist of eight practice days, two off days and three "game day simulations," which will mimic a traditional game day schedule and include an intra-squad scrimmage. The team will travel to the designated hub city of Toronto, Ontario on Sunday, July 26.
As a reminder, all training camp practices and scrimmages will be closed to the general public.
Pittsburgh's 34-player training camp roster will not include forwards Nick Bjugstad and Dominik Simon as well as defenseman Zach Trotman, who are all currently sidelined with injuries.
