Following the Penguins' first round draft selection of Brayden Yager at 14th overall, the Penguins drafted Emil Pieniniemi (2nd round, 91st overall), Mikhail Ilyin (5th round, 142nd overall), Cooper Foster (6th round, 174th overall), Emil Järventie (7th round, 217th overall) and Kalle Kangas (7th round, 223rd overall). The Penguins traded their 2nd round, 90th overall pick to the New York Rangers for the 2nd round, 91st overall pick and a 7th round pick at the 2024 NHL Draft.
