Penguins Extend Qualifying Offers to Three Players

The Pittsburgh Penguins have extended qualifying offers to restricted free agent forwards Kasper Bjorkqvist and Kasperi Kapanen, as well as defenseman P.O Joseph, it was announced today by general manager Ron Hextall.

Forwards Justin Almeida, Jordy Bellerive, Jan Drozg and Danton Heinen, as well as defensemen Niclas Almari, Cam Lee and Will Reilly and goaltender Alex D'Orio will not receive qualifying offers and will become unrestricted free agents on Wednesday, July 13.
