Collection for Fallen Officer
The Western Pennsylvania Police Benevolent Foundation, along with other local police officers, will hold a collection to benefit the family of fallen officer Scott Bashioum before the Penguins' game against the New York Rangers Monday at 7 p.m. at PPG Paints Arena.
The Penguins Foundation will start the collection with a $10,000 donation on behalf of our fans. The Foundation encourages fans to support the effort before Monday night's game, with participating officers located at collection sites inside all entrance gates to PPG Paints Arena.

Important Security Reminders
For the safety of all guests, fans will be required to pass through walk-through metal detectors upon entering PPG Paints Arena. Only small personal bags (purses, baby or diaper bags, etc.) will be permitted inside the building and all items are subject to searches upon entrance. Large bags, coolers, backpacks and sealed packages of any kind are not permitted. In addition, PPG Paints Arena allows only small, personal still-cameras equipped with a 3 inch lens or smaller.
