The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned forward Teddy Blueger to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.

Blueger, 24, skated in nine NHL games with Pittsburgh this year, scoring three times and recording four points. He notched his first NHL goal on February 1 against Anders Nilsson and the Ottawa Senators.
Blueger leads WBS in goals this season with 21, and is tied with Ethan Prow for first on the team with 39 points.
