O'Connor, 23, has split the 2021-22 season between Pittsburgh and WBS. With Pittsburgh, O'Connor has suited up for 22 games, registering three goals, two assists and five points. In 33 games with WBS, O'Connor has recorded 12 goals, 20 assists and 32 points while his 0.98 points-per-game average leads the team.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound native of Chatham, New Jersey has played parts of two seasons with Pittsburgh, appearing in 32 career NHL games and accumulating six points (3G-3A). In 53 career AHL games, all with WBS, O'Connor has recorded 19 goals, 32 assists and 51 points.
O'Connor was originally signed as an undrafted free agent on March 10, 2020 and re-signed to a one-year contract extension on March 12, 2022.
